According to the INTER-AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK, since the 2000s, 90% OF ALL INVESTMENTS made by LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN COUNTRIES in the HOUSING SECTOR have been concentrated in the BUILDING OF NEW HOUSES. However, 94% OF THE DEFICIT IN THE REGION IS QUALITATIVE, not quantitative, and OCCURS MAINLY IN LOWER-INCOME FAMILIES. In Brazil, it’s not different. If on a hand, WE NEED TO BUILD about 6 MILLION NEW UNITS to solve one side of the deficit, on the other, there are at least 25 MILLION EXISTING HOUSES CONSIDERED UNSUITABLE TO LIVE IN, places where a simple renovation can change everything.
VIVENDA emerged to CONTRIBUTE TO THIS NEW PERSPECTIVE TO OVERCOMING THE HOUSING PROBLEM. Through INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY, we want to MAKE HOUSING RENOVATION SOLUTIONS ACCESSIBLE for all Brazilian families, especially those in the POPULAR CLASSES.
We are a TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM that creates solutions for EVERY ACTOR IN THE RENOVATION CHAIN - inhabitants, civil construction professionals, building supplies sellers, or public and private funders. Thereby they can OPERATE IN THIS FIELD IN A SAFER, SIMPLE AND TRANSPARENT WAY, helping many more families to live well and better.
Currently operating in SEVERAL BRAZILIAN CITIES, VIVENDA is a REFERENCE IN THE HOUSING IMPROVEMENT SECTOR, widely acknowledged internationally for its ACHIEVEMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COUNTRY’S DEVELOPMENT.

HISTORY
After working together on public programs for upgrading slums, the founders of Vivenda decided to explore innovative solutions to tackle the issue of housing inadequacy in Brazil, a topic rarely addressed by the public and private sectors.
